Jazz In The Gardens Festival Draws Music Lovers To Florida

Music fans from across the globe will be making the trip to Florida next month, for the fifth annual Jazz in the Gardens music festival being held in Miami.

This high-profile event attracted almost 40,000 music lovers to the Florida city in 2009, which was double its attendance for 2008. According to Southern Festivals, the event’s organisers are aiming for an even greater 60,000 attendees this year, across the festival’s two-day duration on the weekend of 20 and 21 March.

Jazz in the Gardens showcases a range of musical talent in addition to providing a renowned festival atmosphere with food and merchandise from all over the world, reflecting the event’s multicultural flavour. This year’s festival has been extended to offer pre-festival events and after-parties at various locations around Miami Gardens, while the main event will once again take place at the city’s famous Sun Life Stadium, formerly known as the Dolphin Stadium.

Top 3 Misguided Comebacks in Sports History

Lance Armstrong announced on September 9, 2008 that he would return to competitive cycling in an effort to win the 2009 Tour de France. Since then, Lance experienced a series of mishaps including placing 29th in the Tour Down Under in Australia and breaking a collarbone which forced him to withdraw from the Vuelta Castilla Y Leon in Spain. To top it all off, his favorite bike was stolen in Sacramento. Anyone can agree that this is certainly not how he envisioned his supposed grand comeback. Sadly, Lance Armstrong is not the only one to jeopardize his legacy by attempting another shot at glory only to be embarrassingly worse off. Here are the top three misguided and slightly mortifying comebacks in sports history.

Michael Jordan

Air Jordan’s first comeback was hugely successful, earning him three more championship rings with the Chicago Bulls. Also, everyone saw the out-of-this-world brilliance he displayed against Byron Russell in the final

Wild Hog, Wild Rebel and Wildcat Plays for Youth Football

Wild Hog, Wild Rebel and Wildcat Plays for Youth Football

The Wild Hog, Wild Rebel and Wildcat football plays have been running over defenses in the NCAA and NFL for the past few years.

This offense is actually an offshoot of one of the oldest offensive system in football. Pop Warner invented the Single Wing and the Wildcat is a hybrid of this offense.

This offense gives the youth coach all the power he needs to run a powerful new offensive system! Many salesman are pitching Single Wing books as the Wildcat and this simply is not true. The Wildcat is a much different offense than these hybrids of the single wing.

There is a youth football playbook on the market entitled the “Miami Dolphins Wildcat, Ole Miss Wild Rebel & Arkansas Wild Hog Youth Football Playbook” which has been receiving excellent reviews.

If you a new or veteran youth football coach, or just a football fan you have heard of the Wildcat offense used by the Miami Dolphins. The Wildcat offense is a “hybrid” version of the Wild Hog,

NFL Power Rankings – Week 10

Surprise, surprise — the Saints and Colts are in the top two spots in this week’s NFL Power Rankings. New Orleans and Indianapolis both improved to 8-0 and stay at their respective spots for the sixth week in a row.

The Steelers jump two spots to No. 3, ahead of the Vikings, who have a better record and were on a bye this week. The Broncos fall two spots to No.6 after their second loss in a row on Monday night. Denver now is looking up at the Patriots. Let the controversy and angry comments begin!

A steady decline for the Packers has been the pattern over the past couple of weeks. Green Bay now falls to No.20 after an embarrassing loss to the previously winless Buccaneers.

The Browns didn’t play in Week 9, nonetheless, they fall to the No. 32 spot after Tampa’s victory. I think we all know if the Browns were playing this week they would’ve lost. Browns fans probably thought they had a week off from misery, but not even a week off can

Clearing Up the Nfl Playoff Picture

Usually at this point in the regular season, most of us can figure out who will be in the NFL playoff picture; at least for the most part. However, with just three weeks left in the NFL regular season, the playoff picture (excluding the current division winners) is as muddy as ever.

Starting with the AFC, the East is at a deadlock with Miami, New England and the New York Jets all tied for first place. Pittsburgh and Baltimore are only separated by a game in the North, who play each other this week. Tennessee has clinched the South, but those sneaky Colts seem very intriguing.(Shh! Don’t tell anybody but they’ve won 6 straight). And lets not even talk about the dismal West.

Now you can say all you want about New England and New York in the East, but you can’t say enough about the Miami Dolphins. No team has done what they have done thus far, turning a former 1-15 team into a legitimate playoff contender. And most give the credit to Bill Parcells,

99 Days Left Until the NFL and Love Kickoff – Are You Ready

With only 99 days left until the NFL 2006 kickoff, are you ready and will your love life survive another season of football? The Pros are still working out during the off-season but have you been working on your love life as well?

Love as with football requires teamwork and practice. There’s no off-season if you want to be on the winning team. The point of football is to have the best strategy with consistent execution so that you can make it to the End Zone. The team with the most points wins the game and eventually makes it to the Super Bowl. In order for the players to accomplish this, memorization and understanding the correct formations and plays in the Playbook is required.

For a Love Pro the Playbook is, “Winning Points with the Woman in Your Life One Touchdown at a Time – How to Score for Men and Women.” So how can you get ready for this year’s NFL kickoff with the Miami Dolphins vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at

2010 Kansas City Chiefs Predictions

There is no question that the Kansas City Chiefs enter the 2010 season with their best shot getting back in the hunt in the AFC West. The Chiefs finished in last place in the West for the second straight season, going just 4-12 in 2009, but have made a couple big additions to the coaching staffs this season. The Chiefs brought in Charlie Weis to run the offense and Romeo Crennel to take over the defense, both are former coordinators of the New England Patriots, and figure to make a huge impact on the team this season. Here is a look at what the Kansas City Chiefs will look like in 2010, plus my prediction on where they finish the season in the AFC West.

Offense: With the addition of running back Thomas Jones this offseason, the Chiefs will bolster one of the best rushing attacks in the NFL this season with Jones joining forces with emerging young star Jamaal Charles. Charles ran for 1,120 yards and seven touchdowns after taking over for Larry

NFL Power Rankings Week 16: Comparing Teams to Christmas Holidays

NFL Power Rankings Week 16After the exciting week 15 of NFL, here I’m ready with NFL Power Rankings for Week 16.

We have been digesting the well known fact about Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints, which still remains on top in power rankings since long time.

This time, Vikings did good job on comparison with previous rankings. Expectations were really high on Green Bay Packers to be in top 5, but they could not stand upon. The unfortunate news about Dallas cowboys is about their shut down step towards NFL Playoff. I feel, it is tough for them to give important mark for this NFL regular season.

Jacksonville Jaguars are in 15 as of now which may fluctuate soon. How ever, they are not going to be competitors to Titans.

Finally, the worst team in the NFL is St. Louis Rams. Well, let us have a look over NFL Power Rankings for week 16:

(1) Indianapolis Colts

Bettors Like Chris Johnson

It took all of 10 minutes for the first two maximum wager bets to come in at online sportsbook SPORTSBETTING.com after they posted up the prop “Which NFL running back will lead the league in rushing this year”.

And who was it that attracted the money right off the top? Not surprisingly it was the Tennessee Titans’ Chris Johnson.

Said sportsbook manager Brian Taylor, “we put up a bunch of betting options for the upcoming season focused on specific positions such as QB and running back and the “most yards” ones have been very popular. Bettors are tipping Johnson for another big season, with Adrian Peterson as the second most popular choice so far.”

The Titans’ Johnson was the king of the NFL’s rushing hill last season, becoming only the sixth player in NFL history to crack the 2,000 yard mark in NFL history (he ran for 2,006).

After that performance, a raise was in order. Johnson has only been around two years and was still earning
